Remote Board Meeting Policy :
Under the new remote board meetings policy board members are expected to be physically present for meetings but may attend board meetings via remote methods in the case of an emergency, illness or temporary absence that causes a board member significant difficulty in attending a meeting.
The Kingfield Board agrees that the public should have an opportunity to attend via remote methods however public input is not allowed. Public input must be accomplished by being physically present. The board provides a location where members of the public may attend in person for the purpose of being heard.
The board will not limit public attendance to remote methods only except in case of an emergency that requires the board itself to meet remotely.

Admittance to a meeting via Zoom will terminate once the chairman of the board starts the meeting. There will be no exceptions for entry after a meeting has started.

Selectmen Meeting – July 20, 2026, 6:00 pm
Meeting Notices/Public Hearings (Changes and Additions):
The Town of Kingfield Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing Monday, July 6th, 2026, 6:00 PM at Webster Hall to discuss
- Adoption of an ordinance entitled “Moratorium Ordinance Regarding Transient Recreational Developments” and
- the disconnection of a sewer easement from 372 Main Street.
Above matters will be voted on during a special town meeting scheduled for July 13, 2026 beginning at 6:00pm in Webster Hall.
People wishing to make comments or ask questions are invited to attend. Comments may be submitted in writing to Town Manager Leanna Targett, 38 School Street, Kingfield, Maine, 04947 or manager@kingfieldme.org
