The Town of Kingfield is NOT responsible for Route 27 or Route 16.  These calls should be directed to MaineDOT.

The Public Works Department is responsible for the following:

  • Snow Removal:  road plowing, sanding and salt, stockpiling sand
  • Storm Damage Repairs:  road washouts, fallen trees.
  • Road Construction and Maintenance:  potholes, shoulder maintenance, right of way maintenance (ditching and brush clearing), crosswalk painting.
  • Municipal Property Maintenance:  cemetery mowing, ball field mowing, park mowing and maintenance, town office maintenance.
  • Other Services:  municipal signs, storm drainage and repairs, culvert maintenance, street sweeping.
