Kingfield Residents:
There has been some confusion about voting on officers that I would like to clarify.
At last year’s town meeting the people voted to accept the secret ballot process of voting. This means the voting for Selectmen and School Board will be completed prior to the annual meeting. Not at the town meeting. During the annual meeting residents will vote on warrant articles only.
To vote for Selectmen and/or School Board you will need to request an absentee ballot or come to the polls to vote.
Absentee ballots may be obtained beginning May 1st.
Voting Day (elections) will be the Friday before town meeting. June 2nd 8:00am to 8:00pm.
