Kingfield Selectmen Meeting Agenda

 Monday, July 3rd, 2023; 6:00 p.m. – Webster Hall, 38 School Street

Call the meeting to order.

Review June 20th meeting minutes.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS

 Old Business:

Re-discuss VEC engineer proposal for picnic area on river. (Tie vote at previous mtg).

Health Insurance options.

Review job description for Town Manager.

New Business:
 Discuss vacated selectmen seat.

Review TM appointment of all necessary officials and board members.

Review liquor license for The Beer Shed.

Accept additional appointments for Town Manager.

Accept resignation from Ashley Farrar from the VEC and post opening.

Webster Library would like to request permission to place permanent signs in the field and park for the story walk.

The ladies travel basketball team would like permission to do a toll booth on bridge.

Executive Session pursuant to Title 1 M.R.S.A. § 405 (6) C. Discussion or consideration of the condition, acquisition, or the use of real property and 405 (6) A. Personnel Matters – discussion with Town Manager on disciplinary action and 405(6) A. Discussion or consideration of the employment, appointment, assignment, or duties of an individual.

Town Manager Updates/Discussion:

Streetlights – awaiting contract.  Rapid Renewal has been activated.

Selectmen Discussion:  This time will be for items of discussion not listed above.  An opportunity for the selectboard members to converse in a public setting.

 Public Comment/Other (not for new business):

July 17th – representative from FMH to discuss a critical access hospital plan.

Work Session:  Discuss rescheduling of TIF training.

Transfer Station Meeting:   September 28th, 2023
